2010 Business Advisory Council Integrity Scholarship

The Clinton County Business Advisory Council is pleased to announce the following recipients of the 2010 Integrity Scholarship: 

Back row:  Colin Dunlap, Clinton-Massie High School; Thomas Rupp, East Clinton High School.
Front row:  Karen Wilson, Blanchester High School; Gabriella Brown, Wilmington High School; Eve Schumacher, Christian Heritage School

The scholarship was initiated in 1998 as a way to make the cost of post secondary education more affordable to deserving students.  The recipients are selected based on attributes such as ethics, ambition, and academic promise.

This year, five students were awarded $500 scholarships.  The generosity of the following businesses and individuals in Clinton County made this year’s scholarship possible:

ABX Air, Inc. Gates Ford Real Estate
Bush Auto Place Lesia Langston-McKenna, DMD, Inc.
David Chestnut D.D.S. Melvin Asphalt Paving Company
Clinton Memorial Hospital New Sabina  Industries
Collett Propane, Inc. William & Carol Peelle
Curless Printing Company Phil & Vicki Snow
Ferno-Washington, Inc/Bourgraf Family Wilmington Iron & Metal


This is the 13th year for the BAC Scholarship and including the five recipients listed, eighty-three graduates have been awarded scholarships totaling over $40,000.00.  

The Clinton County Foundation administers the scholarship fund.  A campaign for the 2011 scholarship drive will begin in November.
