Experiencing the struggle of economically disadvantaged families.

Content: Participants would have the opportunity to participate in a three hour simulation where they would live out a month in the life of a member of a family living in poverty.

Each family member must seek assistance from a variety of human services and other organizations to provide for their family's basic needs during the course of four "15 minute weeks" Our goal is to assist stakeholders in having a better understanding of the challenges that students and families, who live in our communities, face everyday.
