Mr. Brady will replace Mrs. Melinda McCarty Stewart, who served the district as Superintendent since July 2017. She will be taking the lead as Superintendent at Kettering City School District.
“During my 20 years in the Marine Corps and subsequent 25 years in education, I’ve had the opportunity to work around the world, this great country, and the state of Ohio. I am excited about the opportunity to lead the school district in the town I have always called home,” stated Mr. Brady.
“The Wilmington City School Board of Education is excited to have Jim Brady as our new Superintendent. Jim has an extensive background in public education and brings a wealth of experience to the district. We welcome Jim and look forward to his engagement with the district staff, students, and community members,” commented Board President Michael Flanigan.
Southern Ohio Educational Service Center (SOESC) was proud to assist the Wilmington City Schools Board of Education in their search for a Superintendent to lead the district.
