Southern Ohio ESC is excited to share that we are partnering with Brown County ESC, for the upcoming Fall 2022 Assessment Literacy HQSD Teacher Series - Cohort Two professional learning sessions.
In this two-part series, participants will be provided customized resources to support Assessment Literacy, time to create/redesign High-Quality Student Data (HQSD) tools, and opportunities to collaborate with job-alike educators to engage in meaningful discussions regarding the use of high-quality assessment instruments. Each content area will be meeting on specified dates/times at specified locations. For more information, please view this session schedule. Special consideration has been given to support content areas/teachers in both K-12 and non-state tested areas. Please note that in-person/virtual sessions will not be recorded.
Teacher participants are encouraged to bring pacing guides, curriculum maps, instructional plans, and/or current assessment tools to help support them in each session. Participants are also encouraged to bring a device (preferably a laptop or Chromebook) to support their learning and development.
Gifted High-Quality Professional Development (HQPD) credit will be awarded for successful completion of the professional learning sessions. (This series is approved for Gifted HQPD contact hours, as the PD aligns with the ODE Gifted Endorsement Competencies A, B, F, and G, as outlined in Ohio Administrative Code 3301-51-15).
