Audiological and Deaf/Hard of Hearing

The Audiological and Deaf/Hard of Hearing Team provides direct instruction to children with a hearing loss. In addition, also provides support and resources for the students, teachers, and families. Educational Interpreters are licensed interpreters who provide interpretation of spoken language into sign language, are a voice for their students and act as a language facilitator. The Educational Audiologist provides training, testing, support and maintenance of school provided equipment.

The Audiological and Deaf/Hard of Hearing Team specializes in the following areas:

  • Audiology
  • Educational Interpreting and/or language facilitating on the child's needs
  • Deaf/Hard of Hearing direct instruction, assessment of the child, and may provide additional support to school personnel
