Beth Justice
Greetings!

It is an honor to serve as Superintendent of the Southern Ohio Educational Service Center.  I feel a great responsibility to provide the highest quality leadership to this region.   This region is my home.    I spent my childhood here, graduated locally, went on to attend college in Cincinnati, and returned home to pursue my career as an educator.

I began my career in the classroom serving as a special and regular education teacher before transitioning to building and district level administration. Prior to being named SOESC Superintendent, I served as the Director of State Support Team 14 at Hopewell Center and provided leadership to a knowledgeable and diverse staff of highly qualified educators and specialized therapists.

As an educational leader, the words of Helen Keller, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much” resonate throughout my thoughts as our organization strives to fulfill our mission to foster an educational environment that ensures excellence in performance through shared expertise, collaborative partnerships, and continuous learning.

In order to serve our nearly 24,000 students and 2,500 teachers in Adams, Clinton, Fayette, and Highland Counties while partnering with the Region 14/Hopewell Center in assisting school districts with their academic improvement efforts and special education collaborative, the SOESC remains committed to teaming with our districts to maintain a focus on children and their needs.

As the initiatives of education continue to evolve in the 21st Century, the Southern Ohio Educational Service Center remains steadfast in providing high-quality services through programs and leadership.

We look forward to strengthening our partnership with member school districts as we focus on innovation, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking as we prepare our students for the future.

I welcome your thoughts on how we can better service our districts, educators, and the boys and girls of our region.

Respectfully,

Beth Justice, Superintendent
Southern Ohio Educational Service Center
