Linda Allen began working at Region 14 Hopewell Center in 1989 and currently serves as the executive director for SATH, the Supplementary Assistance to the Handicapped. She has trained in the area of early childhood development, sign language, and fundraising at Southern State Community College. She is an advocate for all people with disabilities having the opportunity to be involved in anything and everything without preconceived limits and that community involvement will help develop a sense of worth, pride, and respect in one’s accomplishments. Her professional interest include public speaking to make people aware to focus on a child's abilities and not disabilities. She has received numerous awards for her work.
